JW:

1) Admin Error

The English

"the [son] of Amminadab, the [son] of Arni, the [son] of Hezron, the [son] of Perez, the [son] of Judah," (ASV)

The Greek

"??? ???????? ??? ????? ??? ???? ??? ????? ??? ????? ??? ?????"

The Textual Variation

3.33 ??? ???????? ??? ????? ??? ???? {C} Faced with a bewildering variety of readings, the Committee adopted what seems to be the least unsatisfactory form of text, a reading that was current in the Alexandrian church at an early period.1

Metzger, B. M., & United Bible Societies. 1994. A textual commentary on the Greek New Testament, second edition; a companion volume to the United Bible Societies' Greek New Testament (4th rev. ed.) . United Bible Societies: London; New York

The JW

The first word in question for this Verse is "?????" (Admin), 4th Greek word from the Left. The word is unattested in the Masoretic so there is no Hebrew word to look at. WH has "?????" and TR has nothing. Modern translations are Divided. Metzger's bewilderment due to Textual Variation is a common Sign that whatever was Earlier was perceived as in need of Improvement by whatever was Later.

The Conclusion

Contradicted by "Matthew's" genealogy = Error.

The JW

The second word in question for this Verse is "????" (Arni), 6th Greek word from the Left. The word at this point in the Chronicles and "Matthew" genealogy is "Aram". WH has "????" (Arni) and TR has "????" (Aram) = "Matthew". Modern translations are Divided. Metzger's bewilderment due to Textual Variation is a common Sign that whatever was Earlier was perceived as in need of Improvement by whatever was Later.

The Conclusion

Contradicted by the Chronicles/"Matthew's" genealogy = Error.
